    Hello from LGBT RUSSIA!

Please see the attached Press Release (moonlightpeople.com). If it fits your standards we will be grateful for its publication.

We are the crew from Russia who shot a pilot episode of the series that is dedicated to the gay issues. It is based on real events.
We would like as many people as possible to see the true life of Russian gays. We sent out a press release to Russian and Western mass media, but for some reason they refuse to advertise us (except for the portal gay.ru). Most likely, this is due to the law banning promotion of homosexuality in our country.

    Russian press about our series:

    Hi,

My name is Blair Skinner and I’m working on the Amazon Series titled “Transparent.”

I’m inquiring for permission to show the cover of a few 1989 issues of Out Write Magazine in “Transparent.” In the scene they would be used as set dressing and put in the background at a book store.

“Transparent” is a dark comedy about an LA family with serious boundary issues. Ali, Sarah, and Josh — three adult siblings — are challenged to understand their family’s legacy after their father, Mort, comes out as trans. In this exploration of love, sex, and identity, the past and future unravel when this admission causes everyone’s truths to come out.

Please don’t hesitate to give me a call at 323.956.7425  with any questions or comments.

Thank you for your time and cooperation. I look forward to hearing from you shortly.
