  3. Drew says:

Wait, Dan Savage, a man who’s done more for LGBTQ+ rights and visibility than the entire staff of this site combined, is a bigot cuz he said something you disagree with? You want to silence and cancel him because his opinions are not your own. There’s definitely some bigotry happening here, but it’s not Savage’s.

  4. Akira Yagami says:

Dan Savage not is a Bigot! Is a Big Idiot!

  5. Edwin says:

Don’t forget is aggressively dishonest and racist statements concerning black people in 2008, when California. Was bullshitting with Proposition 8.

    He supported the Iraq war.

This man would be a Republican if he were not Gay.

  6. Alejandro Rios says:

a bigot for saying out of context shit in 2009? btw any reader can literally see the date of the quotes made by the writer. This smells like a personal feud/”you problem”/self-report projection rather than a public accusation/political denunciation/PSA. Previously I Had looked at every single non-paywalled anti-bisexual google can show from the lovecast/savagelove website url. There are about 5 where he generalizes or talks about it in abstract vs subjective cases where he advises, all those are presented like the asexual claim, “asexuals should stay at home” as it were, versus all non-heterosexuals marching for the right to buggery and sodomy or bjs and anal, is completely sensical to think about in those terms. More precisely, look at the mention of aces when talking about pride parades (in times of anti-lgbt sentiments). He did, idk if he still is trying to, make the whole re-appropiation thing with tranny, as we did with queer and fagot and dyke. So, we’re still on the more edgy side of politics; and honestly Dan Savage if we were to accuse of anything it’d be not being radical enough/too moderate/conformist in the classic assimilationists vs liberators. This kind of publication reduces seriousness with which we take journalism with

I’m not offended in the least, I really like and appreciate Dan Savage.
He is anything but bigoted, which is evident to anyone who knows anything about the man.
