10. Finish Her! by Aja
“Finish Her!” is the latest single by Aja, our favorite tell-it-like-it-is queen from season 9 and All Stars 3. In a four-minute rap with impressive beat changes and multiple flows, Aja demonstrates that she is a burgeoning raptress and a force to be reckoned with. “Finish Her!” is deeply reminiscent of Nicki Minaj’s colorful “Roman Reloaded” era, and does not shy away from witty puns of Minaj’s influence. “I stay up, fresh, on my grind like I’m Folgers,” is one of many punny references that show us this self-proclaimed Bangee C*nt did not come to play!

9. C.L.A.T. by Aja, Alexis Michelle, Peppermint, Sasha Velour
An acronym for “Club, Legend, Art, Theater,” this song was written by these queens from season 9 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. These four queens all hail from New York, and their passion for the state shines in this song. From Sasha reminding us, “Gender is a construct, tear it apart!” to Peppermint boasting she gets “dollars in [her] ti**ies almost every single night!” this song shows us that the competition gets stronger with every season, and that New York is home to some of the best in the drag world.

8. The T by Alaska Thunderfuck (feat. Adore Delano)
In this dark, pop-rap track, Drag Race fan favorites Alaska and Adore spill “The T” on their experiences on the show and in life. Needless to say the tea was ~HOT~ henny! Alaska reflects on the tumultuous season of All Stars 2 (which she won) and delves into her sticky relationship with season 4 winner Sharon Needles. With all the tea and all the shade thrown in this song, it’s impressive and surprising that Alaska and Adore rode the beat effortlessly all through the track. Needless to say, the fans were not disappointed with their blonde-wigged All Stars 2 Champion.

7. All This Body by Jiggly Caliente (feat. Alaska Thunderfuck & Ginger Minj)
“All This Body” is a hidden gem on Jiggly Caliente’s new album T.H.O.T. Process. Having been read for her figure on season 4 of Drag Race, Jiggly has since reclaimed her agency with this body positive anthem. The opening dialogue between Jiggly and Alaska on the track is an awkward, but poignant encounter in which Alaska conflates beauty with skinniness and is subsequently called out by Ms. Caliente. Using her art to deconstruct fatphobia, Jiggly clearly has a sharp thought process in the creation of her work – pun 100% intended.

6. Drag Up Your Life by Trixie Mattel, Kennedy Davenport, Shangela, Bebe Zahara Benet
An instantly meme-able hit from All Stars season 3, “Drag Up Your Life” was written and performed by these four queens for a challenge on the show. Each queen adopted the persona of a kitten and wrote their verse through the lense of the feline. It is Bebe Zahara Benet’s verse that steals the show. Opening her cheetah-themed verse with “Rrrrra-ka-ta-ti-ti-ta-ta, yeah I’m pu**y, bitch!” Bebe brings out her Cameroonian flare in a moment that will go down in Drag Race herstory. Since the performance debut, plenty of drag race fans have recreated the iconic ad lib.

5. Purse First by Bob the Drag Queen
From the first episode of her iconic season, Bob the Drag Queen made a lasting impression with her window curtain-themed dress and purse. Of course Bob walked into the room “purse first,” using the purse to guide her entrance on stage. That moment has since been branded into this catchy single. Asserting “it is a known fact that a woman do carry [sic] an evening bag at dinner time,” Bob basks in his campy aesthetic and leaves us all reminded how to handle dinner like a lady. His commitment to highly exaggerated womanhood in this song is characteristic of old-school Paris is Burning “drag realness” rules, and I will forever cherish this song for that.

4. The Same Parts by Tatianna
A seasoned drag veteran from season 2 and All Stars season 2, Tatianna performed this electric pop song as a spoken-word piece for a talent challenge in All Stars season 2. In an interview with Queerty, she details that she wrote the song when she was a teenager exploring gender as it has applied to her life. On the track, Tatianna concludes that, queen or not, she’s “got all the same parts that you do.” Famous for her bold choices, Tatianna did not disappoint with this energetic bop!

3. Yet Another Dig by Bob the Drag Queen & Alaska Thunderfuck
When the title itself implies shade will be thrown and tea will be served, I’m here for it! “Yet Another Dig” is a catchy rap collaboration between All Stars 2 winner Alaska Thunderfuck and season 8 winner Bob the Drag Queen. On this track, Bob lets his cockier side shine and brags about his drag skills while showing us he can incorporate the phrase “yet another” in a multitude of ways. It is important to note that this single was dropped after season 9’s controversial ending. Alaska does not hold back on her verse when she makes it apparent who she would have chosen to win the crown. In the span of fifty seconds, Alaska also shouts out her fellow queen Roxxxy Andrews, chastises queen Valentina for her infamous lip sync, and shades RuPaul for switching up the rules of season 9 at the last second. I can’t help but relinquish a heavy “YAAAASSS QUEEN GO OFF!!!” when I hear this song.

2. Feeling So by Shea Coulee
One of the three songs on her debut EP, Coulee-D, Shea’s “Feeling So” is an ode to a blissful, carefree moments of pure happiness. Shea lingers over a moment in which she is so overcome with positive vibes she cannot even describe what she’s feeling. The title is fitting because she leaves it up to the audience to fill in the blank: Feeling So ….. What sets apart “Feeling So” from songs by the other queens is that it subverts traditional camp in drag music while maintaining queerness and raw emotion. This song is an instant uplifter that reminds us why Shea was a fan-favorite in her jaw-dropping season of Drag Race.

1. Read U Wrote U by RuPaul (feat. Katya Zamolodchikova, Detox, Roxxxy Andrews, and Alaska Thunderfuck)
Arguably the most famous song from Drag Race is “Read U Wrote U” by RuPaul. In All Stars season 2, the final four queens were tasked with writing guest verses to this single. With RuPaul’s main chorus echoing, “I’m the one!” over and over with heavy autotune, the queens competed with one another to deliver the best verse. Long story short, they alllllll slayed, henny. Alaska Thunderfuck opened the song channeling Nicki Minaj’s Roman Zolanski, boasting that she would “snatch the crown.” Sure enough, she did. Detox brought her usual flare, and Katya declared she’s the “only high class Russian wh*re!” However, as iconic as their verses were, this song would surely not be our favorite if it weren’t for Roxxxy Andrews’ verse. Her playful opening, “I’m Roxxxy Andrews and I’m here to make it clear!” spawned a new classic meme for Drag Race fans everywhere. As controversial as her presence was in the top four of All Stars season 2, I’m satisfied purely because we got this amazing verse out of it.
